the process

Initial Consultation

We start on each wedding with a consultation either in person, by phone, or via emails. We will discuss all aspects of the wedding including the personal style of both bride and groom. During the consultation we will go through sample designs as well as material options. We encourage you to bring along (or email) any pictures, ideas, and colors you have in mind. Inspiration can be found everywhere. Anything from flowers and cake photos to dress and venue choices can influence your wedding invitations. We even want any interesting stories of proposals, your first kiss or how you met as it's usually these stories that helps us add your personalities and little quirky details to really make your day unique.

Cost Estimate & Schedule

A preliminary cost estimate and schedule will be emailed to you during or after the design consultation. If you choose to go ahead at this stage we require a non-refundable deposit of $150 to continue with the design process.

Design Development

Here you select your wording, fonts and colours. A digital proof of the wedding invitations will be emailed for your review.

Final Proof & Payment

At the completion of the design phase a final digital proof along with a revised invoice & proof contract will be emailed for your review. We include 2 rounds of revision free of charge (additional revisions, or changes after this, incur a $50 charge per proof). Carefully review the final proof for any spelling, grammar or design errors. When you have signed off your final proof, we require full payment to book your production dates in.

We only accept a certain amount of wedding invitation jobs per month to make sure our standard of quality remains high.

Production & Delivery

We will schedule your wedding invitation printing and delivery dates for each stage. Our standard method of shipping in via Australia Post registered post. Once your order is shipped, you will receive email confirmation of your Australia Post tracking number. These deliveries will require a signature. Printing and assembly of our wedding invitations will generally take 4-6 weeks (please contact us for any urgent orders). Local brides and grooms may choose to pick up the completed designs in person. Even though we are based in Melbourne, we can deliver wedding invitations nationally and internationally through Australia Post.
